कई ऐसे योगासन हैं, जो ठंड के दिनों में शरीर को अंदर से गर्म रखते हैं। शरीर की immunity को मजबूत करते हैं, जिससे आप सर्दी में होने वाली बीमारियों से बचे रहते हैं। यही नहीं, रोजाना सुर्य स्नान यानी धूप सेंकना भी आपको मौसमी बीमारियों से बचाता है। आइए जानते हैं कैसे?
सर्दी के मौसम में वातावरण में रूखापन और ठंड ज्यादा होती
है और इस दौरान हमारी अग्नि शक्ति भी काफी प्रबल होती है।

और इसलिए खानपान की नियमों पर ध्यान देना अवश्य है
इस मौसम में कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स, आइसक्रीम, मिठाइयां, तला भोजन, गरिष्ठ पदार्थ तो वर्जित है ही दूध में बने पदार्थ पनीर, मिठाइयां, मलाई आदि का सेवन भी कम करें।
इस मौसम में हल्के व गर्म पदार्थ का सेवन करें। इलायची, लौंग, सोंठ, लहसुन, प्याज, लहसुन दालचीनी, मशाले वाले चाय, हर्बल चाय, और गर्म पेय जैसे सूप आदि स्वास्थ्य के लिए बेहतर होंगे। विटामिन c युक्त फल-सब्जी जैसे नारंगी, नींबू, गाजर आदि अवश्य खाएं। इनमें विटामिन सी भी होता है और इस मौसम में होने वाली  कफ, खांसी से बचाता है और शरीर को शुष्क होने से भी। इसके अलावा ठंड के मौसम में प्राणायाम का नियमित अभ्यास करने से शरीर को ऊर्जा मिलती है और शरीर अंदर से गर्म रहता है।

इस मौसम में शरीर को धूप में सेकने से भी विशेष लाभ मिलता है और इससे विटामिन डी भी मिलता है। इसलिए सुबह के समय कम से कम 10 मिनट धूप में जरूर बैठे और जो लोग गठिया के रोगी हैं उन्हें भी विशेष लाभ मिलता है।
अखरोट, बादाम, सफेद तिल, मूंगफली आदि का सेवन करें ये हमारे शरीर के तापमान को संतुलित बनाए रखते हैं।

ओम का उच्चारण 
सबसे पहले पद्मासन या फिर सुखासन में बैठ जाए, अपनी आंखे बंद कर लें।  फिर अपने दोनों हाथों को घुटनों पर रखकर  ज्ञान की मुद्रा बनाए (अंगूठे और तर्जनी को मिलाएँ)। मन को स्थिर कर लें, अपने शरीर की सभी मांसपेशियों को ढीला छोड़ दें। और लम्बा गहरा श्वास भरते हुए लगातार, धाराप्रवाह ओम का उच्चारण करें। इसका अभ्यास कम से कम 5 मिनट तक करें। धीरे धीरे आप इसे 15 से 20 मिनट तक बढ़ा सकते हैं।
लाभ : उच्च रक्तचाप, तनाव, कब्ज, गैस, अजीर्ण, हृदय रोग और क्रोध को कम करता है।
