In order to avoid coronavirus, it is necessary for people to keep their homes free from infection. However, do not forget to wear gloves during cleaning. The US-based National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIARD) has suggested some of these cleaning methods that can help keep your family safe.
1- Wash the floor, table, window with soap-water
Repeatedly clean surfaces of the house such as floors, door latch, tables, electrical switches, phones, handles, keyboards, restrooms and sinks with soap-water
2- Use of bleach and alcohol
Clean the house with bleach solution. Before using any anti-infective material, add water to it as instructed, but avoid mixing two types of cleansers. Can use lotion containing more than 70 percent alcohol content.
3- Carpet cleaning
Clean the soft surfaces of the house such as carpet, curtains etc. with soap-water or other effective things. Dry it thoroughly after using hot water in the washing.
4. Wash hands frequently
Wash hands repeatedly with soap-water for 20 seconds. Wash hands even after coming in contact with a sick person and removing gloves. If there is no soap and water, use a sanitizer which contains at least 60 percent alcohol to wash hands.
5- Caution in garbage
It is necessary to take care in lifting the garbage carried by the sick person. While removing the garbage bag, be sure to wear gloves and then clean hands thoroughly.
