Restlessness due to corona virus, so do yoga: Harvard Medical School

A major medical institution in the United States recommends yoga, meditation and breath control to combat anxiety associated with the corona virus. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local health agencies, and the government, there are at least 3,485 cases of corona virus infection in the US. The death toll from the deadly virus has reached 65.

Harvard Medical School has stated in its new health guidelines that yoga, meditation and breathing control are 'some right and tried ways to calm down'. 'An article on the subject of dealing with the anxiety of the corona virus has been published this week.

 John Sharp, a faculty of Harvard Medical School and a board-certified psychiatrist at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, said regular meditation is very relieving.

He said if you don't do yoga? Do not try until you feel like it. Many times you can benefit by doing some new things and finding new activities. One can consider apps like Yoga Studio and Pocket Yoga.

He said that bad news will come about the virus. He appealed to the people to listen to public health experts who can show them the right path. Meanwhile, the World Hindu Congress of America said that it conducted Havan and prayers throughout North America as part of its efforts to deal with anxiety and mental health issues arising out of the global epidemic of Kovid-19.

Referring to the Health Guidelines report released by Harvard Medical School, a community organizer, Anil Sharma said that posture, meditation and pranayama can reduce the discomfort that is arising among people about being isolated.
