The most effective way to avoid the outbreak of an epidemic is to wash hands, but in such a situation, it is also important to not have hands but… Let us know some remedies which can prevent hands from getting dry. According to the World Health Organization, one of the most effective ways to beat coronavirus is to clean your hands regularly with soap and water. You wash your hands in a similar way and for as long as you sing Happy Birthday. If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer with open mind. By doing this, we can not only protect ourselves, but also protect the people around us. But this hand washing process also has some side effects.
Harm Soaps-
Over use of soap causes the pH level of our skin to deteriorate and our hands become more alkaline. This is why the problem of dryness in the skin increases. Repeated hand washing with soap can damage the skin's protective lipids, which can cause skin peeling and cracks on the fingers and palms.
Moisturizer is a better solution-
Experts tell you to moisturize your hands every time you wash your hands and use gloves as far as possible. If you do not have a moisturizer, you can also use coconut or almond oil.
At the same time, you should also avoid using hot water, as it can damage your skin's moisture.
-Avoid using Scrub, as they can increase dryness in the skin.
- Keep in mind that the moisturizer you use contains vitamin E, squalene, shea butter, cocoa butter or jojoba oil.
- Tap your skin after hand washing and leave the skin slightly moist. To keep moisture in your skin, apply moisturizer on it 2-3 times a day.
If there is any skin problem-
If your skin is already struggling with a problem, choose the medicated option to cleanse the hands. Avoid using scented soap or hand sanitizer. You should use moisturizer in such a way that its effect lasts longer. Petroleum jelly is considered much better in this work.
Make your own moisturizer-
You can break four capsules of vitamin E (which is available in the market as Avian 400) and mix it in a little coconut oil. It works as an effective hand moisturizer, which also keeps your skin hydrated and repairs the damage done.
You can also use almond oil or olive oil to prepare moisturizer by yourself. People who have very sensitive skin or are prone to skin cracks, make a separate moisturizer for them, which includes aloe vera and vitamin E in addition to two tablespoons of almonds and coconut oil.
